Pacers Siakam: ‘Game 3 is the most important of the year’
The best of seven series now heads back to the Gainsborough Fieldhouse in Indianapolis with OKC winning Game 2.

Indiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam has admitted that Game 3 of the best of seven NBA Finals will be “the most important game of the year” after a 123-107 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder that levelled the series 1-1.

“You want to win every game. We’re not happy with how the game went. We have to turn the page, focus on Game 3, it’s the most important game of the year,” Siakam said in his brief post-game press conference in Oklahoma City.
“We’re excited to go home to our fans, ready to compete and play hard,” he added.

Siakam praised the Thunder for their defensive aggressiveness, noted that “that’s what Mark Daigneault’s players do” and that the Pacers are going to study the video of this game with an eye toward Game 3.
The Finals now shifts to Indiana for the next two games of the series at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.
