Update:

Watching the Knicks or the Lakers is like playing the easiest version of Where’s Waldo: Celebrity Edition — the arena is so jam-packed with stars trying to get in front of the camera, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve shouted at the screen to take me back to the action.

Watching the Pacers isn’t like that. The Indiana side has a relatively small but ultra-loyal celebrity fanbase who, even if they can’t make it to every game, make their feelings known on a regular basis.

Which celebrities support the Indiana Pacers?

For starters, former NFL player turned actor Terry Crews is a huge Pacers fan and was present at Game 3 of their series against the Knicks. While Indiana lost that game thanks to a standout performance from Karl-Anthony Towns, it didn’t wipe the smile off Crews’ famously happy face.

David Letterman, the legendary talk show host, is also a fan. His busy schedule means he can’t attend every game, but his loyalty is unquestionable. Born in Indianapolis, he even owns an Indy 500 team, further cementing his ties to his hometown.

Jesse Eisenberg, the actor who portrayed Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network, is another familiar face in the crowd. Though born in Queens, NYC, the 41-year-old regularly shows up to watch the Pacers and has admitted, “I was a rebellious kid and a lifelong Pacers fan,” also revealing, “Indiana is my second home. I’m here more than I am in New York.”

Wait, 50 Cent is a Pacers fan?

Believe it or not, it looks like 50 Cent is now a Pacers fan. The rapper was at Game 4 of the series against the New York Knicks — the same game where Tyrese Haliburton dropped 32 points, 12 rebounds, 15 assists, and four steals.

His social media was flooded with Pacers praise, prompting some Knicks fans to (justifiably) label him a “sellout.” While 50 Cent’s hometown loyalty would traditionally lie with the Knicks, he’s clearly recognized the Pacers’ power this season.
